Facilitated by Kaya Natin, the training's theme was "Unleashing the HERO in me", inspired by the teachings of one of Kaya Natin's founders, the late Jesse Robredo--to strive to make heroes of
ourselves.

The training lasted for 3 days (August 12-14), and dared LPU-Batangas' student leaders to step up to the H.E.R.O challenge--a way to commemorate Jesse Robredo month as well as to honor the late DILG secretary's life and legacy.
